MLB 2024: robot umps, please

They're never playing another game at Tropicana. It was supposed to be replaced in '28. There's a 10k seat stadium at Disney they used as spring training in '23 when they were repairing their minor league/spring training spot in Port Charlotte. Why not there? That's where Milton landed so. They don't have to beg the Yankees that way.

The AL East teams would veto having to travel to California 4 extra times and the Rays would probably fold from the travel cost.
So it’s either Buffalo or Montreal at that point right?

(Honest question, how many realistic stadium options are there?)

I don’t think Montreal is an option. They’re spending close to a billion to replace their roof and construction just started.

Talk about bad timing.

It’s probably Buffalo, Miami, or a spring training complex around Tampa.

Omaha has a stadium available, though there would be a 2 week long road trip in June required.

And with balanced schedules, does the location really matter anymore?

You are correct…but mlb is swimming in $$$$ and any crying should stop before it starts (there’s no crying in baseball after all ).

Lindor leads off to his walk up music, "My Girl," in honor of his daughter, and entire park serenades him. That was genuinely sweet.

I suppose a majority of fans hate both the Dodgers and the Yanks, but the thought of a Yankee/Dodger WS is OK. Evokes memories of Vin Skully and . . . who on the NY side, Joe Garagiola?

That's like saying an ncaa final of Michigan vs BC wouldn't be so bad because of their history going back to the 50s. When in reality, nobody likes Michigan or BC.

Yup. All four of those belong in the same hate group.
