MLB 2022: Playing Ball, But Is Anyone Still Watching?

Sounds like one of the Cuban coaches defected at the Little League World Series. Commentators mentioned he left the Grove last night and that "Little League is monitoring the situation."

The LLWS MLB game would be so much better if they played at one of the LL stadiums. Anything that isn't a strikeout or grounder is a home run. I want a 100-99 final score dammit.

l think it would be the opposite. A 95 mph fastball from the Little League mound is the equivalent of 125 mph from the MLB rubber. I'm not sure how many guys are getting a bat on that. Reaction time drops almost 25% to .34 seconds.

Executive vice president Ken Williams and senior vice president and general manager Rick Hahn were fired by the White Sox on Tuesday.

Interesting, especially with the news Reinsdorf is looking to sell, or demand a new stadium, or just move the team.

Jerry is having himself a week =(

I think time is starting to take a toll on him. He’s well into his 80s and he’s starting to lose touch. But, as is the case when an old guy is in power, people don’t call him out on his views that clash with what should be done…

Unfortunately I don’t think he’s gonna sell. He would need to sell the Bulls too.

Now granted his sub-$50 million investment for both teams would probably net him somewhere around $2.5+ Billion, but he won’t give up the power of holding a position that only 125 people on the planet can hold (owning a “Big 4” team).

And yes, fans are wanting him to sell. But at least it's not the same manner that Oakland fans are asking for a sale.

Angels crashed and burned after going all in at the deadline. Now Trout is going back to the IL and Ohtani tore his UCL again so he’s done pitching for the year. If I was him I would just pack it in for the year and start rehabbing to make it possible to pitch sooner, but he’s not that kind of guy.

Strasburg is medically retiring. He threw 31 innings on his current 245 million contract and will receive it all because it’s for medical reasons. Because of his history the Nats couldn’t find reasonable insurance so it’s all coming from their pocket.
