And thus far Stanford is doing a great job of out pitching WF. But I’ll be honest, the only team that I’m aware of that was worse at base running than Stanford is my little league team when I was six.

On a related note, to get to Omaha, Stanford had to defeat Texas.
- 2 outs, bottom of the 9th, they thought they had a HR but it went off the wall, even though the batter threw his helmet and the team started to come on the field, but he safely made it to second: https://twitter.com/TreyWallace_/status/1668463787861475328
- On the next play, Texas lost a popup in the lights, it dropped, runner from second scored: https://twitter.com/TreyWallace_/status/1668464646720815104

TCU/Va in the elimination game at 2. The nightcap at 7 has ORU/Fla and the loser of that game playing the winner of the 1st game on Tues.

Mookie is heading to Omaha to golf in august

Domingo German threw the 24th perfect game in history against Oakland last night in an 11-0 win. First one in 11 years since King Felix threw his in 2012.

9 innings, 0 H, 0 BB, 9 K, 99 pitches

The Tigers threw a combined no-hitter against the Jays today. First in Tigers history. Oh they also scored two runs to win it, so that's nice.

They even managed to mess up player intros for the ASG. Apparently it was too boring to have them come out from the dugout and lineup on the baselines. Now they make them run on a red carpet from center field and it takes five times as long.

I don't actually mind the jerseys this year, though it would be infinitely better if they wore their own. But if you're not going to go with grey pants for the NL, why are you giving them black pants with a navy jersey instead of going mono-navy.

I deliberately missed the ASG this year, after watching and scoring 40 of the previous 46.

I will not watch again until they go back to the team uniforms.

I heard. But nope. Nope nope nope.

TBH I was going to watch but then remembered it was a national broadcast. If I have something pretty to look at OK I will endure that, but not for this dystopic marketing future.
