Blue jays pitcher Anthony bass has had a roasting on twitter. This was my fave

And the Tigers sweep the DH and have now won five in a row. This early in the season you'd expect them to be near the top of the division with that, but they had such a bad start they're still two games under .500 and three games out.

This 13u coach is elite:

One of my 13u pitchers collapsed on the mound last weekend after overdosing on ibuprofen. Needed him to pitch back to back games and didn’t realize seven ibuprofen’s doesn’t mean 7 shutout innings. You live and you learn. #BeElite

Tired of getting kicked out of 13u tournaments. If your son is going to get out of the way of a fastball he doesn’t get to wear a helmet for the next AB. Be a team player if you want to use the team equipment. #BeElite

Yes it's parody.

It’s definitely parody. Reads like a baseball version of Three Year Letterman.

But the ibuprofen thing is real (well, maybe not the passing out part). I know a guy who messed up his stomach for a while loading up on ibuprofen to pitch in high school. And they weren’t even good.

Edit: guess I should say it wasn’t the coach making him take it, he just had a sore arm and really wanted to pitch.

Madison Bumgarner was designated for assignment Thursday by the Arizona Diamondbacks, who will eat more than $34 million remaining on the veteran left-hander's contract.

They must really want to have a 2023 game in front of more beer vendors than fans.

There was an “anti-boycott” campaign for a game in June where the fans were planning to sell out the stadium to show the support that could be there if they tried to build a team. Not sure if that’ll be happening anymore.

I'd think that this will be their "Hail Mary" moment if they truly do want to try and keep the team in Oakland.

Emilio Pagan. Hot garbage!

Well, I mean, he had to come in on no notice given the other guy got hurt. Any news on him by the way? I was at the game and screamed OWWW!! when it happened.

Also, to follow up on the shortened game, I like it. However due to pitching changes and a few innings with many runs scored it still took close to three hours. Why the heck MN changed pitchers in the bottom of the 8th, down by 7 runs and with two outs I'll never know.

Calling it an ankle contusion. So no break.

Moran had just given up a run to make it 11-3. Get him out of there and put in a position player to pitch to not destroy another pitcher's confidence.
