Meh... If he's eligible, why not? I'm sure the Mets are happy he can get "real" game experience out of this if they really do feel they can develop him to an MLB talent level.

We were blessed in NY/NJ with great announcers. And the Mets had the best postgame show ever.

Channel 11 (the Yankees station) went right to the news after the game. Since WPIX was owned by the Daily News, it always led off with a murder or two.

They were bad, but they didn't tank. And you always stayed around for Kiners Korner after home games on WOR. Players would come in uniform, frequently holding a glass of beer and discuss the game with Ralph Kiner. Gawd it was fun, and, for a young kid, educational on the nuances of baseball.

MLB delays start of regular season by at least 2 weeks -- or when it used to start.

So, I wonder how many executives in the MLB office are thinking, "Gee, we sure lucked out with this virus thing. Nobody is talking about the sign stealing scandal anymore..."
