Do I want to go to Game 5? It's going to rain. You know it's going to happen. Too much about how dominating the Red Sox were. Well, they weren't last night and now all the momentum is with Tampa because they know they have Price in Game 5. And he wil not have two bad outings in a row. Argh. And Monday was going so well for me.

Part of the reason I like the Pirates is their fans have been through a lot of the same things as Brewers fans. I can identify with them. They're used to losing, so they're not spoiled rotten like some of the other teams' fans. They appreciate being there and they're just excited to see a playoff game, and holy cow, they WON? added bonus! The playoffs are still a foreign concept to some of us. Before 2008, the thought that I would actually care about a playoff game because it involved my team seemed impossible. I couldn't even imagine what it must be like to be in the playoffs. I imagine younger Pirates fans feel the same way, and it makes me like their already likeable team even more. I hope I never get jaded about my team making the playoffs, and that I will appreciate every second of it and keep it in perspective, because it's certainly a hell of a lot more fun that way.

Very sketchy HR call in the OAK-DET game. Detroit hit a solo home run, but was reviewed for fan interference, which I think was the right call. The HR stood, so it's 4-4.

I think it's really hard to tell. I do agree that there probably wasn't enough to overturn the HR call, but if they had the video to make the call from the beginning, I think it gets called interference.
