MLB 2012, Part 1 - It's here

Re: MLB 2012, Part 1 - It's here

I admit I haven't seen a good angle yet, but on first glance I thought it was a bad call.

What an epic choke, couldn't be a worse week for Bobby V.

WEEI (Red Sox flagship radio) post game signed off because they have a national Fox show at 9PM, but the phone lines were still full when they went off the air. I don't think the callers were inquiring about how to purchase a brick...

Speculation is already burning up the airwaves that Valentine won't last the month. It's pretty bad when the bleacher creatures start chanting "We Want Tito" during the game.

This has to be tough on Yankees fans, too. They want to gloat about their team winning, but Red Sox fans are too busy btiching about the team to care :p They also get to listen to Bobby V every week on Michael Kay's radio show :D

I can't remember now. Which of you Boston fans were happy about where things were last year? WHo wanted Francona canned? :D

I wasn't exactly campaigning for him to stay...something needed to change. But I don't blame Bobby V for this, not at all. I place the blame, in order, on the players, the ownership, the GM and the manager.

It's funny to watch sometimes. I can't wait for the day the Yanks fans finally get Girardi's head on a pike and that team goes into the commode.

See, if they had done what I did in The Show and traded Youk and Beckett it would be so much better.

Re: MLB 2012, Part 1 - It's here

Did you get a bucket of KFC and some Samuel Adams in return? :D
Popeye's ;)

Actually, I got Chris Carpenter (the good Chris Carpenter, not the crappy one the Sox got from the Cubs) and a rookie reliever. He's my new Ace...outdueled Verlander on opening day 3-2. Red Sox closer Dan Bard got the save :p One of the benefits of playing the game is the Red Sox are run by someone who actually cares about wins and losses, not profit margin.

Got to love the new Orioles hats (Blue Jays new uniforms are spectacular as well). And by new I mean throwback.

Re: MLB 2012, Part 1 - It's here

All I know is that Josh Willingham is a very bright spot in what will probably be a very meh Twins season.

Phil Humber? Really?

I mean, it's gotta be a different Phil Humber than I'm thinking of, right?
