Re: MLB 2010: Hope Springs Eternal

Yes, I will comment when I feel like it. "Not forgiving" a player for losing a freaking ALL-STAR GAME? Heh.

Grow up. Seriously.

Even if he lost the game, why would you blame him when it was Phil Garner and Miguel "The Statue" Cabrera who were really at fault?

Re: MLB 2010: Hope Springs Eternal

Brilliant defensive play?

No it wasn't. It was lucky. If he woulda caught it, like he intended, the situation would be the exact same.

Re: MLB 2010: Hope Springs Eternal

The National League really can win one of these.

Sweet:cool:

The road to the world series runs through Coors Field, Citizens Bank Park, Turner Field, Busch Stadium, Great American Ball Park, Petco Park, or Citi Field:)

Re: MLB 2010: Hope Springs Eternal

I will never forgive David Ortiz and Joe Girardi! :D

Nothing Ortiz could have done. Stuck in no mans land on the pop fly.

If you want to pass the blame...why was Ortiz out there running bases? Granted he isnt the tying run...but you leave it open to things like that happening.

Re: MLB 2010: Hope Springs Eternal

Jeebus... The on-field "talent" is almost as "good" as the "talent" in the broadcast booth...

I think JF's comments was tounge in cheek from my comment about Trevor Hoffman earlier.

Re: MLB 2010: Hope Springs Eternal

Two of THE worst post-game interviews I've ever seen.

"You didn't get it done, twice. How bad did you want to get it done?"

DUH!

Re: MLB 2010: Hope Springs Eternal

He was 4" shorter than McCann but his pants were hiked at least 6" above McCann's.

well girardi is the master mismanager... left arod on the bench. either pinch hit him for beltre or pinch run him for ortiz. you cant do both and you shouldnt do neither.

its like peyton manning trying to take all his timeouts home with him after the superbowl.

i suppose he could have raised hell with some team and sent a pitcher in to run for ortiz. that is what would have most likely happened if were any individual team's game.

Unless you're in the American League, in which case it runs through Rangers Ballpark, US Cellular Field, Comerica Park, Target Field, Yankee Stadium, Tropicana Field, or Fenway Park.

Oh, you mean the road to the championship, don't you? Gotcha, tiger.
