8.5 hours. 3 in a very nicely AC'd enclosed room, and 5.5 in a slightly less AC'd area doing next to nothing.9.5 hours in un-A/Ced warehouse. Tossing 20#-50#+ boxes of paper, motors, etc. In jeans. Try again, scooter.

A supercell is currently bearing down on the twin cities - 70 mph winds and quarter-size hail are possible.
Anoka, eastern Hennepin, and Ramsey counties are all in line to get hit. Later on, for the southern metro, it looks like points west of 35E will be spared while points east will get hit.
I believe this is the same supercell that rolled through Fargo at 4 a.m. this morning. It's managed to maintain its intensity moving ESE across the state - and as it approached the Brainerd area, it took a turn more to the SE - and as it passed to the east of St. Cloud, it apparently took an even more pronounced right turn.
Good Grief, I hope that can hold together and reach Madison/Verona sometime today. We are bone-dry here! I'm getting tired of pouring good city water on my veggies.A supercell is currently bearing down on the twin cities - 70 mph winds and quarter-size hail are possible.
...
Pretty much night time here in DT Mpls right now.
So that's why it was so dark! 70,000 feet will do that. That'd be the protrusion I saw on the SW flank of the storm a few minutes ago.
And 2"? What is this, some kind of Asian storm?
Trajectory would not take this thing anywhere near Madison - it'll probably head down the St. Croix after hitting the eastern half of the twin cities.
Per KSTP: storm top is now 70,000 feet.
Sirens are going off in the SE metro.

Doesn't matter; it withered in the heat after it left the MSP area.Trajectory would not take this thing anywhere near Madison - it'll probably head down the St. Croix after hitting the eastern half of the twin cities.
That little disturbance looks like it dropped the temps about 10 dgerees cooler than forecast. Hope that holds through the day (though I doubt it). It shows 81 now while 91 was forecast for 2 PM. I wouldn't mind if my kid plays his soccer match in 86 degrees versus 96 tonight.
Okay, you don't have the sun beating down on you
Twas a hell of a theory.....
