Minnesotans arguing about the weather...

Re: Minnesotans arguing about the weather...

Nowhere near as bad as bbdl's situation, but I **** near froze working down on the windward side of the plant today. It was brutal.

Re: Minnesotans arguing about the weather...

Snowmageddon XXVI has yet to make any appearance in the NW Metro. Canada leaked more of its air than previously predicted, thus drying it out just enough up here so far.

Re: Minnesotans arguing about the weather...

It's windy here, but not that cold at all. A couple inches, judging from the snow on my patio.

Re: Minnesotans arguing about the weather...

about 2 inches here in SE Michigan, but they seem to think we're going to get ice later. Either way no need to really worry about digging out until after the ice.

We're getting plenty of it down here to share with you guys up there. Want some?

I'm just glad I don't have to work tomorrow. President's Day is this year's New Year's Day for my group.

Re: Minnesotans arguing about the weather...

I wonder what's going to be worse, driving to hockey tonight, or walking to class tomorrow morning?

Re: Minnesotans arguing about the weather...

Talked with my brother in St Michael, and he wasn't getting any snow as of about half hour ago. He wasn't happy about it.

Re: Minnesotans arguing about the weather...

A virtual whiteout on the east side...Stillwater. Very heavy snow with winds...accumulating rapidly. This sucks. Must be tournament time.

Re: Minnesotans arguing about the weather...

Here in Minnetonka the visibility is getting worse. I know in NE WI some friends are snowed in due to lack of visibility.

It's sleeting right now. I'm not going out until around 8 or so.

Re: Minnesotans arguing about the weather...

Yeah, it is pretty close to a whiteout up here now. Making up for the lost time, evidently.

Re: Minnesotans arguing about the weather...

Once again, the southern metro is taking the brunt of it. There's about a foot on the ground here, and it's still coming down. This is going to be one sh*tty commute tonight.
