Re: Minnesotans arguing about the weather...

This whole thing has been a big disapointment in Bemidji. An inch and a half of rain, and no snow yet - maybe a half inch tonight or tomorrow. What happened to my Winter Storm Warning  !

Re: Minnesotans arguing about the weather...

The wind has died down around here. It's still blustery and there are some good gusts, but it isn't as sustained as it was yesterday.

Run to the store and get milk

This ain't Maryland.

Big whoop. Couple inches of wet snow that mostly melts when it hits the ground. It'll be messy if you have to drive right while it's falling, otherwise, meh.

Yesterday morning's commute home was a slushy adventure. I was still able to do 45-50, but lane changing to pass was a royal pain in the ***.

OK, weather guessers 1, me 0:o . That was a bit more than I expected. Ground was warm, but it snowed fast enough that more stuck than I thought it would. I went to get gas for the snow blower, but never bothered to start it. Kid went out and pushed much of the snow away, the rest will melt in a day or two.

Re: Minnesotans arguing about the weather...

So I live in Lakeside Duluth right now and this weekend was very cool. The girlfriend almost hit a car and barely made it up hills in the slushy snowy conditions near the Miller Hill Mall. Then when we got home in Lakeside there was only an inch on the ground. Most yards have no snow! Thanks Lake Superior! :D
