The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.

We are very close to our white whale: 24 consecutive hours over 100 degrees.
Another fun fact: it is humid as fuck right now (hence the monsoon warnings) and the "feels like" temperature is about 7 degrees hotter than the actual. So Friday's 117 felt like 124.
Europeans can tell you. Things spontaneously combust. The wildfires across southern Europe are epic. In most places firefighters have given up because it's too hot and the fires can't be contained. Over 330,000 hectares have burned in France and Spain. Macron says it's the worst calamity for France since WW2. As of yesterday the fires were just 9 miles outside Bordeaux and the airport had been evacuated. Officials were contemplating an evacuation order for the entire city, but many aren't waiting for official word. Madrid is also at risk.
And today is supposed to be the hottest day yet...
