There is absolutely no way GDO can skip plowing. Was there less snow on the west side?

Deepest drifts in my yard are maybe a foot. The houses and trees are densely packed here so the gusts don’t get going that much. I think we got 6-8.

Got the windows open; it's 60 degrees with a light breeze up here. Of course when the grandkids start street hockey tomorrow it'll be in the low 40's with the wind howling.

I’ve been in Florida since Wednesday. Yesterday was a ride over to Honeymoon Beach, north of Tampa Bay. Today has been spent around the rental house in idyllic weather. Some geckos have been hanging around, too.

Fuck me.

I tried to blow the plow berm when we got home. It was at least three feet high. My two stage 800 series toro just laughed. Took me 45 minutes to get a strip just wide enough to drive through.

Normal weather at this time for Anchorage: 44-29 degrees.

Current weather in Anchorage: 17, blizzard conditions.

We’re in the “Winter That Won’t **** Off”.

High temps here…
Today: 70
Tuesday: 76
Wed: 82
Thurs: 79
Fri: 66

And then we fall back to earth with highs in the 40s.

Some updates from around the nation

fargo is going to hit major flood stage (15' above flood stage) and Fort Lauderdale just got two feet of rain in the last seven hours.

Ok maybe I shouldn't complain about the last five days of snow...
