PI give Heise some extra credit for being a player on teams where the lines weren't necessarily planned around her. She spent much of her career playing with Boreen and Skaja, decent players, but not elite. She had the ability to make others better. She didn't play in as many big games as some because the program was in decline by then. I remember the final game in a couple of her seasons where she scored to put the team ahead, but they ultimately didn't hold the lead. UM had some players of similar repute who would often disappear entirely in such games.
