No...no association with a former bullmutt please...;)

I am unfamiliar with that person I guess. I was thinking "like boom boom Geoffrion" but then "boom boom" would not be so good for a woman player.

Adds a ton of intrigue for the next 7 weeks.

WOW! That's exciting. I'm curious to see what it will look like. I'll attempt to keep modest expectations heading into UND and not assume it's just going to be magic right away from the first shift this late in the season. But holy smokes, it's pretty cool :D:D

Congratulations to AK. First and foremost it's great to hear she's healthy and made a complete recovery. Second...she is just a very exciting player to watch and without question an asset to the sport.

I'm excited see her, though I'm still not convinced this is a good idea after missing almost two years with concussion symptoms.

It does improve the chances that I'll manage to get that one last autograph on the photo I have of the whole 2010-11 freshman class.

A healthy Amanda Kessel hasn't been seen for quite awhile. I am looking forward seeing her in the lineup and working out what will inevitably be some rust of not playing for quite awhile.

Re: Minnesota Women's Hockey 2015-2016: Confection Free

My (admittedly limited) understanding is that once you have concussions subsequent ones are more likely. I hope she is not putting herself at risk, particularly since this weekend they play a team I have personally witnessed intentionally try to injure players. As much as I enjoyed watching her play I am not sure I will see her play. When I was a kid I couldn't watch the high-wire act at the circus because of the risk, I may have the same problem here.

We will definitely be going nuts when #8 skates out with the rest of the players Friday night and very excited that she will get to do what she loves.

Super awesome news!!!!!!

She will be in uniform this weekend? What's the over/under on her minutes? I'd say about ten.

I doubt she'll have that big of impact seeing as she hasn't played a game in 2 years. Maybe she'll have a negative impact on team chemistry. Maybe Raty has some eligibility left too, any other skeletons you want to bring out of the closet Frosty? Bring it rodents, BRING IT!
