Re: Minnesota Women's Hockey 2015-2016: Confection Free

What was that about Menefee? Did I miss something or am I overthinking an earlier post?

You didn’t miss anything, you are overthinking

The 2012-13 group wasn't bad offensively either.
Yes, they are the Gold standard
If the Gopher forwards are not enough of a challenge, this group of blue liners, all of them
Can carry the puck into the opposition zone and bring havoc upon the opposition
I had to laugh when I read Katey Stone’s comment on Wolfe scoring in the championship game.
Unexpected? It shouldn’t have been, maybe that’s why you lost!
Any one of them can score,
and the Gopher forwards seem good at covering for them
although I’m sure it’s tempting to follow them into the zone
maybe for a drop pass or to jump on a rebound after a shot

...and from what I can gather, not looking like any live video available.
I'm not sure if there isn't any or if it just isn't shown yet. On the Gophers' Gameday, they don't have the link for the live audio, but it does show in the notes. I didn't ask Dan if he was making the trip, but he has gone just about everywhere the last few years. Hopefully, it isn't one of those retro games where we have to just sit there and stare at the Gamecast waiting for the next shot attempt to display. :(

If I could manage to type on that dinky phone screen, I'd send you updates from Pegula.

Seems at the start of the year a lot of the schools are late making their video feed info available.

I have an email request in to someone in communications at Penn State regarding streaming of the two games this week. If I get a response I'll let you know.

From PSU-"This week's games are scheduled to be streamed for free on our website. They should be in GoPSUNow (Formally College Sports Live)."

Good news...thanks for that. Explains why I couldn't find it on the BTN web schedule.

Re: Minnesota Women's Hockey 2015-2016: Confection Free

Is GoPSUNow just audio or is it video?

I asked if the game was going to be "streamed". I certainly meant video, but neither of us used the term video.

So I guess we'll see if I was a victim of semantic abuse or whether the game will be streamed on video.

Last year, it was part of the BTN Plus package and included video. As of now, these games don't show up on the BTN Plus schedule. I'll spend the money for a month of BTN Plus if I can watch Wisconsin and Minnesota as well for that month. If all I'm getting is Penn State, then I'm not sure that it is worth it.

It looks to me like Ohio State and Penn State are going to be part of College Sports Live and Wisconsin and Minnesota will be BTN Plus. I'm still holding out hope the games this week will be streamed on video and not just audio despite them not being on the schedule. Women's games have not appeared on the video schedule in a timely manner in the past, especially early in the season.

But my failure to specifically say "VIDEO" in my question about streaming to PSU has me a little worried!

The concerning part is that the upcoming games versus BU in a week are on the Penn State schedule already. I'm not going to sign up for their service without a link, and I may just listen to Dan on Gophersports either way.

Correct, although that is in Boston so it's not definitive.
