Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: The Return of Outdoor Baseball

The Cubs have a loyal fanbase that come out despite the weather. Twins don't have the same kind of fanbase or are you arguing that they do?

The Twins drew 2.28, 2.29, 2.30 and 2.40 MM the last season four seasons IN THE DOME, and it's already been proven the temp differential between here and other similar cities is on average 1-3 degrees per day, while there is no more rain.

No number on the front of Hudson's jersey? Odd as the other players do have numbers on the front left.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: The Return of Outdoor Baseball

Only took 4 trips to the mound and 2 runs for Baker to settle down and end a 30 pitch 1st inning.

I like these jerseys a lot more than the pinstripes.

It seems like a common problem for Baker. He gets too up for a game like this and over throws. I think he'll settle down now.

I like the new unis; I liked the old ones, too :)

Bad first inning for Scott Baker, but he has those... Hopefully, we can get one back here; the true test for Baker will be how he recovers...

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: The Return of Outdoor Baseball

Baker is my least favorite of the starters...he is a lesser Brad Radke  :p

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: The Return of Outdoor Baseball

Losing weight is helping Delmon already :D:D

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: The Return of Outdoor Baseball

New roadies suck! :D

Too bad Delmon is such a black hole in the lineup ;)

Moonshot Scott lives up to his name ;)

Season = OVAH!!!

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: The Return of Outdoor Baseball

I'd really like this to be the season the Twins don't give runs back the very next half inning after they score them.

Pretty please?

Oh, and Thome has hit a HR on opening day for 2 consecutive years. He needs to get in the lineup late when we need a run. ;)

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: The Return of Outdoor Baseball

No, but I have a couple large uncahsed checks, some unopened bottles of Perrier, and a summons. You can keep 'em.

I have a bridge in Minneapolis you can buy...

Buy tickets for the second game and hope for lots of rain on Monday and Tuesday.

Right, I just figured that with my posting of the game 163 and division series extra tickets opening up someone would pay it forward.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: The Return of Outdoor Baseball

Who is this guy wearing Delmon Young's jersey? He's hitting home runs, stealing bases...

Tied at 3 with the Punto sac fly.

I don't know, but he was just magically added to my fantasy team. I already have 3 solid outfielders, may as well take a chance on Delmon as my 4th. Hey, maybe he's actually figured it out this year. :p

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: The Return of Outdoor Baseball

There was something in the air that night, the stars were bright, Fernando.

It's all Kubel's fault.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: The Return of Outdoor Baseball

Young may be thinner now, but Mijares is still fat. Also, people still hit dingers off of him.
