That pitch was lower and further outside than the pitch he walked the previous batter on. Hilarious.

Biggest difference for the ump was that it was away to this batter as opposed to inside. Gives the ump a different view of the same pitch I would bet.

What's going on? The GameCast has been stuck at 0-2 to Jackson for three minutes.

I only use MLB gamecast. I've even considered paying for the upgraded one before I downloaded the iphone app. Would have used it for the radio since I don't get any radio reception (for any stations) in my cubicle.

Ok I was at the game, and seriously Denard Span is drunk in center field. He missed a ball because he tripped over his own feet. Even Delmon doesnt do that!

Thankfully the Tigers suck :D

Cuddyer had an awful game defensively. I think I saw him misplay three balls.

Ulger is a moron.
If Gardy is going to rip his players for playing bad baseball, he should call out his 3B coach as well, because this isn't the first time lately that Ulger has sent a guy who had zero chance to score. I don't think even Casilla could have scored form second on that play.

He sucked at being the hitting coach and 3B coach. This guy is running out of positions to suck at. :p

Just put him at first base. Though he'd probably find a way to screw up holding a guy's batting gloves.

He would probably put them on his hands and not give them back. By the end of the 3rd he would have nine batting gloves on. By the end of the game he would lose 3 gloves somehow, someway.

Better to lose batting gloves than runners at the plate. My concern with Ulger as 1st base coach is how many times would Denard get picked off w/o Jerry White screaming "Back!" at him? You wouldn't think Span could get picked off any more than he already does, but I'm afraid Scotty would find a way to increase the rate. If D.S. is only going to bat .270, he won't be on 1B that often, anyway.
