Minnesota @ North Dakota 10/16/09

Re: Minnesota @ North Dakota 10/16/09

I don't feel like MN needs to be more physical necessarily, but they do need to start skating harder. Standing around is a tough way to play.

Re: Minnesota @ North Dakota 10/16/09

I'm surprised this game is only 2-0 - it should be 5-0.

MN is once again a mediocre team. Given what happened in Grand Forks last season, you'd think the team would use that as a motivator to play better this time around. Instead, they're making the same horrid decisions and playing every bit as soft as they did last time.

It'd be interesting to see what sort of game we'd have right now if the Gophers weren't standing around like a bunch of lazy Teamsters.

So, did we stop recruiting skaters cause every UND player is faster and quicker than every Gopher on the ice. It's sad.

Re: Minnesota @ North Dakota 10/16/09

UND is slaughtering UMN.
Could've just left it at that. :p

It may not be reflected in the score (yet), but that is essentially the story right there.

Scooby, the team can skate. It's just not doing that - for what reason I don't know. Maybe they just gave up after UND went up 1-0. This could be the most emotionally weak team in the history of college hockey if that's the case.

Re: Minnesota @ North Dakota 10/16/09

If I was a UND fan, I'd be angry that my team isn't doing a good job of finishing its chances. If MN ever decides to skate in this game, they could make it interesting in the 3rd period since they're still just down two goals.

How the **** did he miss the net on that oddman rush?

...and Kangas robs Lapointe. Dear lord.

Agreed. It's still only a 2-0 game. North Dakota needs to put a third one in here to take complete control.

Gophers need a lucky bounce to give them a lift. God knows they can't lift themselves right now.

Exactly. Those are my thoughts.

LaPoint just missed his 2nd of the game! Kangas is playing pretty well, keeping them in it.
