Some world-class athletes on the Gophs. That game goes into OT and Minny woulda won it.

The 5 was well-earned by a kid who hasn't seen the second period yet. He won't see the first tomorrow. Stupid, stupid penalty that put Minnesota back in the game.

I am sure Goldy is pizzed and will come out breezers afire tomorrow.

Nope, he earned 2 and the opportunity to avoid bus legs in Ann Arbor. UNO won tonight without him. We can do it again while he gets a wake up call!

You swept one of the weak sisters. Enjoy it while it lasts.

A lot of empty seats at the Mooch early in the 3rd. What gives "State of Hockey?"

Can't blame it on just corpies as the ends were barren. Can't blame it on high school games either as they haven't started.

The pathetic Wild were also playing at the same time in St. Paul.

Well, we used to cover Division III only, in January we left the cover of D3sports.com and kept the name, but rebranded its meaning.

Back to your main point, though... They'd still whip the best NCAA Division III team.

You'll see our main website (d3photography.com) covers mainly Div III still but we're broadening when we can.

Sweet. I'm sure they're handing out all those scholarships in the hopes that they will be better than the schools that don't hand out any. At least that's the goal for the football team.

Yet they still cannot beat teams who can give fewer fulls and partials... IMO I think St. Thomas can beat Minnesota. And Mount Union would dismantle them. But this isn't a football board.

I remember when I'd go to the Gopher games to watch the Gophs win the races to the puck, make a series of tape-to-tape passes down the length of the ice, enter the O-zone with ease, set-up, cycle and get tons of shots on net - 40-50 a night often. Now I go and watch UNO do that to the Gophs while the Gophs make dumb-*** cross ice passes in their own zone, stand and wait for the puck instead of getting to it first and putting passes into the teammate's skates or 3 feet out of his reach.
