Agreed. Especially Canucks named Mike. There were no more well mannered Canucks than "Friendly" Mike Commodore and "Gentleman" Mike Prpich.
Like Fox News those two were fair and balanced

You are welcome.
Helluva series. Did not expect this result at all. Was hoping for a split at best. I also hope we meet up in April.![]()
After no wins in the last four games, what makes you think the Fighting Hawks will make the Regional?Would love to meet up at the Regional in Fargo. The place would be absolutely nuts.
The relevant question now is whether wins against Big 10 schools are considered club team wins for PW purposes. After last night's embarrassing tie, I hope so.
I guess you won't have to worry about this one.

It was a fun series.
We miss you, old WCHA.
Well, disappointing result, but it was a nice seeing these two teams playing again. I thought North Dakota played better tonight, but just had zero puck luck (I counted at least 4 posts). Cam really struggled with his positioning on the big ice, and probably shouldn't have played all 125 minutes this weekend...did not deserve it. Oh well.
Congrats to the Gophers on the win tonight, and getting the better of the series. Good luck the rest of the way, and maybe we'll meet up in March or April.
On a side note, Gopher announcer just said they don't know when these two teams will meet again...what an idiot. They have contracts to play each of the next six seasons.[/QUOTE]
I noticed that too.
Am disappointed in the "Fighting". Was hoping they would be coasting after their victory and maybe a little complacent when DU came to town.
Speaking of fighting, it seemed like the first period Friday both teams were trying to live up to the old hatred which had been built up in the press and by alums on both sides.

Actually this year they started the season with 5 consecutive wins. Not exactly typical...You all realize that this is the typical UND slow start, right? Just sayin'.
