That would be stupid...I have no love for the Private Factories but unless you split the teams into different sections you would be forced to have only one of them in the Tourny every year. That would suck for the fans and for the Tourny promoters themselves.

I'm not saying put them in the same sections, section assignments wouldn't have to change. Just put them in their own conference, to play their regular season. The tournament wouldn't change at all.

Well my old squad lost in the same section tonight... my how Holy Angels has fallen this year. Lost to Prior Lake 4-3 apparently.

I remember getting to chant "seasons over" during warmups in sections. Oh well... go privates:p

Bemidji vs. Moorhead Wed. 3/2 in Thief River Falls for the 8AA final. First time in 6 years it's not Roseau/Moorhead in that game. Bemidji is seeking their first trip to St. Paul since 1986 (Pelawa). Roseau or Moorhead have represented 8AA for the last 14 straight years...

Not much for upsets so far. It looks like just about all of the teams that are supposed to still be there are, with the exception of that one single A section where Little Falls was exposed for being overrated, again. I am strongly considering going to the 6AA/2AA games at the Mooch again. They have been excellent when I've gone previously. This year it will be Burnsville - Edina in 2AA and Eden Prairie - Wayzata in 6AA.

I plan to go too. I assume you don't need me to get you tickets this year? ;) Although they are going back to Mariucci which had the debacle the year before. You may want to look into getting them early in case they F it up again.

I think I can handle getting tickets this year. While I want to go, I actually doubt that I will make it this year, I wish they broadcast the games on FSN, then I wouldn't go for sure.

I got 4 tickets to 2AA/6AA championship tomorrow night. Going with 3 guys from work to the games, and probably for some drinks and burgers at Sallys pregame.

I can probably get in, bit I'm not sure I want to stand around half the concourse away from the edge trying to see.

Man bigblue, I wish we could have gone to today's Delano v Breck game instead of Thursday game v holy family. 3-2 Delano after one. Delano getting outshot 19-7. Heinonen with a goal and 2 assists already.

Just go down and find a seat. It will not sell out, it's just that people try to save seats - it's GA, if someone is not there in the seat, take it. Usually people will be reasonable about it. We were trying to save a block of seats two years ago but when it started to fill up we saved fewer and fewer, letting people take the open ones.

Trying to decide if I will take off for a while after 2 to buzz over to Mariucci and get a ticket. Don't want to risk the lines tonight. Will depend on how busy my afternoon gets...
