Just got back from the game, it was very entertaining.
Bjugstad, Holl and Gardner are 3 very impressive players coming up for the Gophers. But what is up with Max Coatta! He is a helluva player as freshman!

There was a huge group of scouts at the game, some were even wearing something that gave away who they were with. I saw the Flames, Capitals, and Canucks, then shirtless guy pointed out a guy wearing a sweater with a Nanooks logo on it also.

Also, Joey Benik was at the game, is just as ugly in person as he appears to be in pictures. We also ran into Ricky Doriott, Defenseman from Tech.

I recognized the guys from the Leafs, Bruins, Rangers, Coyotes, and Sharks. There were probably about a dozen more that I didn't see or recognize. College-wise, I saw St. Cloud, Alaska, Air Force, and Union, and I'm sure I missed a couple others. A good number of USHL guys were there too.

Does anybody know why the Holy Angels-Minnetonka game is not on FSN North as is listed? Instead they're showing the high school hockey movie. UGH :mad:

There have been rumors that FSN North is dropping most of their high school hockey programing. Nothing confirmed yet though... :(

That's very disappointing. Was looking forward to a great game, and I would have driven down had I known it was not going to be televised.

That is a bummer. It is easy to believe the expenses outweighing the revenues, though.

As did Edina! Unfortunately we are having a late Christmas dinner with some friends tonight and I have to go to a jobsite meeting in Silver Bay tomorrow and won't be back in time to go to the championship game. :(

Eden Prairie @ Minnetonka Tuesday night. Should be a good one. Max Gardiner is out with a broken wrist. He had surgery on it last week and the prognosis was better than first thought, so he should be back in action in around 4 weeks. Go Skippers!

Since it's at the Fairgrounds Coliseum I will probably got to STA-cdh game, past home cdh games (at Highland) have sold out before the JV game even started. :eek: I may go to the JV game too, my son has a race in Cottage Grove earlier in the afternoon & so it depends when he's done.

I would be interested in either game but if I have things correct STA-Cretin would have more Gopher recruits so it's more appealing to me.

I'm planning on going to the STA-Cretin game tonight. It is at the Hippodrome at the state fairgrounds. I think there may be a couple other posters showing up to the game.
