Zuhlsdorf has more offensive upside and leadership potential than Lindgren. Among Bischoff, Glover, Johnson, Sadek, Zuhlsdorf, Lindgren and Collins, Lindgren might be relegated to a rotation much like Sadek was last season.
It's more likely that Lindgren is the best of that group than the worst.

Is this a hit and run post or do you actually have some proof to back it up?
This is all opinion at this point. But I'd put Bischoff on top based on what appeared like a #2 position behind Brod last year. I'd say Johnson and Glover are already in the line up. I think it depends on Sadek, Lindgren, Zuhlsdorf, and Collins...to see who doesn't step up and they'll be dropped to a few games. For the other three there will be some good rotation to give them significant chances to be solid players going forward.
Truth! The only opinions that will matter are those of Lucia and Guentzel, once the season gets rolling and they see what each brings to the team. But even knowing this it's fun to put forth our own opinions, and speculate what we think will happen. Tonight the U.S. takes on the Swiss so Lindgren and the rest of the D should be challenged more than they have to date. Consider it yet another opportunity to form our own opinions! This is all opinion at this point.
They keep getting younger and younger!

I believe Michael Mancinelli had already given his verbal to the Fighting Hawks.Interesting to see staff go so early on a recruit when another player on the team of the same age has nearly twice his points.

You are right, Mancinelli plays for Compuware. He doesn't play for Shattuck. The two top scorers are committed, though.
Made a nice pass to Kailer Yamamoto, who was stationed out front and redirected it in, for the USA's second goal. Casey Mittelstadt also had a nice game, with two goals in the Americans' 4-0 win.Watching lindgren play against Switzerland right now. He looks really special. He's definitely going to be a nice addition to the gophs this upcoming season.
Is it that shocking? He was extremely highly regarded a few years ago and is the captain of the team steamrolling the U18s. He is a steady defenseman, which is kind of like Bischoff. Glover and Collins obviously are in no best on team discussion, and Johnson and Sadek will need to step it up this summer, too.
"extremely highly"Ok. So if I understand you correctly, Lindgren is better than all current Gopher D? Sounds a bit "Debbie Downer" like to me.
“We’re really excited to have him,” Saints coach Jason Lammers said. “He brings leadership, he brings knowledge, and he understands what it takes to win because he’s won championships in the past. He’s been a leader at every level.
“He is the shut-down defenseman that we’ve been looking for, but I think he’s even more than that. He’s so poised with the puck. It’s not just a matter of shutting down the opponent, it’s not giving them a chance. He breaks the puck out of his own zone so well, he’s tenacious in the corners and he has a willingness to compete. I’m a little surprised he was available.”
