Minnesota Gophers Off Season thread - 2016

Internet is better than no game but: 1. For some explicable reason I can't figure out, my tv all of a sudden stopped working with a computer and HDMI cable. 2. BC is the Eastern game I want to see the most. (but thanks to those schools that stream.)

Check your monitor settings. I'd guess mirroring got turned off.

For Comcast users, channel 999 in the Ridgedale area often has SCSU games, and channel 13 has Kato games. Not really advertised, from my knowledge.
999 also picks up Kato games. But for both SCSU and Kato, they are home games. The game with no TV is at Mariucci.

It had been working fine, then just stopped. Happened this summer and now I can't even remember what I had tried. with hockey season looming, I'll need to dive in soon again.

On WCHA.com, they list UAA game both on Friday AND Saturday (and Sunday UAF). Is that just a mistake, or do they re-run games? And if I can't really afford to stay up until midnight this Friday, are completed games posted online making it possible to stream a recording on say Sunday afternoon? And if so, is cost the same?

The Saturday game is UAA v UAF.
And yes, the games are archived. I know with my all-season subscription I can watch games whenever. I would assume you would be able to watch on-demand if you purchased a single game, but don't take my word for it.

Re: Minnesota Gophers Off Season thread - 2016

As expected, it's another two years for Coach Lucia:

Don Lucia signs two-year extension on eve of Gophers hockey opener

Check out the retirement contributions. $230-$255K per year, on TOP of base salary. The PDF of the contract is out there, I apologize for no link. I saw it via my Kindle this afternoon. Shouldn't be too hard to find....

Yeah, saw that earlier as well. If Don retires, whether voluntarily or not, he will not be hurting. But should that come to pass, it would be small potatoes compared to what the U would have to cough up for a "retirement" of their basketball coach.

Well tDon does need his hair care products, those aren't cheap.

(Is there no SEASON thread yet?)

As long as Gophs keep up their 6 pts/gm scoring average for he season, they should be fine.
