) sitting near them when the Gophers played up there back in November.
I have two complaints about Ridder, both of which only become an issue as it starts to fill up:
1) The concourses really are not designed to handle a full house and it becomes a pain to navigate getting anywhere between periods;
2) There's nothing to distinguish the general admission seats from the reserved that give the GA ticket holders any idea where they are supposed to fit. Once it gets crowded that means that you have a lot of disputes between people who find someone in their seats and the people who are already sitting there that don't understand the policies and don't realize that they are sitting in a reserved seat.
There's nothing much to do about the first problem at this point, but the athletic department really needs to fix the second.
My assumption was the benches with backs were GA and the chairs were the reserved seats. Correct?
Could be worse... It could be like AMSOIL Arena in Duluth where all the seats are chair seats and there's no indication as to which section is which. In fact, they didn't even have a policy for which section was which until some Bulldog season ticket holders became irate about loud Gopher fans (That's correct, but my reserved section gets flooded with people who have no idea.
