Re: Minnesota Golden Gopher Women's Hockey 2012-2013

Splitting time between my PC and TV tonight for the Gophers @ St. Cloud and the high school state tournament. Pre-game word from the SCSU broadcast crew is both Kessel and Räty getting a rest tonight.

Didn't win by enough Brooky?
 What does winning margin have to do with anything I posted?

As always, thank you for your intelligent, soundly reasoned input! Every W like salt in the wound eh?

As mentioned by play-by-play man Dan Hamann on the Gopher audio webcast...

No Gopher goaltender other than Noora Räty has yielded a goal since October 16, 2010. Since then...

-- Jenny Lura made 3 appearances (all in relief), played 81 minutes, and stopped all 32 shots she faced;

-- Shyler Sletta made 4 appearances with a shutout in her one start, playing 107 minutes with 30 saves; and...

-- Amanda Leveille has made 7 appearances, getting 3 shutouts in her 3 starts, playing 279 minutes with 84 saves.

Why must you whine about the so called non calls after a win? Was your team playing ruff?....oh my goodness. Any reasonable hockey person (not including you of course) gets it that when you win, and sometimes even when you don't, you shut up. As for salt in the wound, hardly, a DA like you still hasn't figured it out yet, that I've had close ties with members of your organization for many years. I celebrate every win in my own way, without you.
If you're not satisfied with a 2-0 win, finish your second bag of popcorn then. :)

Wow...I truly care about your personal associations. I'm tremendously impressed... I guess a DS like yourself hasn't figured it out yet...I never cared.

I mentioned the non calls before the win by the way. I would think the worlds self professed most brilliant hockey mind could have discerned that distinction.

If you could point me in the direction of indications I was dissatisfied with the win in any way you might be able to put a bandaid on your hemorrhaging self embarrassment. :)

Also, Does
Didn't win by enough Brooky?
qualify as a reasonable hockey person shutting up?

Hopefully some day I can be as charming, brilliant, reasonable and rational as the important well connected CHG.

Thanks for stoppin' by tonight. Always enjoy your unique genius...pffft. :)

3 points in the standings for Minnesota tonight. Same as every conference game thus far. Even the recent OT squeaker.

On to the rematch then. As they say...I might make some nachos and I might criticize officials.

Don't forget to wash those pants you wore to the ot squeaker....or was it a dress.... :)

Dan missed a few seconds. In the most memorable goalie substitution in my hockey watching career, Alyssa Grogan played I believe it was the last 11 seconds on senior night last year. Among those in attendance who understood the situation, there was not a dry eye in the rink.

Re: Minnesota Golden Gopher Women's Hockey 2012-2013

This is the funniest play by play and color commentary I've ever listened to.

Re: Minnesota Golden Gopher Women's Hockey 2012-2013

I do want to note, that those were NOT my words. LOL BTW...what are you doing listening to the SCSU call anyway?:(
Things getting seriously physical. Would not be surprise if something happens in the third.
Confirming that it was the SCSU/AmericaOne feed which provided the amusing commentary.

I listen to you pre-game, between periods and post-game. However, today when you announced the drop of the puck SCSU/AmOne was still about 7 seconds away from starting. The delay is just too confusing.

At one point in the third the color guy remarked on the physical play saying that this was the sort of thing you usually only see when North Dakota comes to town.
