Sarcasm is lovely until confronted by the facts. I was a Mankato season-ticket holder. The tickets I got for our "home game" at the X were crap, buried down in a corner. Nowhere near as good as my seats in Mankato.Exactly. If I remember right, ticket sales at the X for the Mankato "home" games refused to sell tickets to people from Mankato until all Gopher fans that wanted tickets had them. I think they used caller ID to identify Mankato fans. I suppose Gopher fans should have just agreed to only have Mankato fans purchase tickets.
All the good seats between the blue lines were full of Maroon and Gold. In a building that holds over three times as many people, why weren't Mankato's season-ticket holders the first priority for a Mankato "home game?" Shouldn't I have gotten seats at least as good as my Mankato seats?
I've never been able to get an answer to that
