Minnesota @ Bemidji State: 10/18-10/19

Re: Minnesota @ Bemidji State: 10/18-10/19

I don't think a single freshman looked out of place.

I expect that to remain true this weekend but it should be easier this time because every freshman is waiting for his chance to pound the beaver as often as possible.

I'd agree with that. My original comment wasn't meant to disparage Kloos or Cammarata, rather to point out how good I thought Fasching looked. Just in case that wasn't clear.

Kloos has some moves that's for sure and quick hands, the Beaver better be prepared for slick moves and quick hands. If not the Beaver will allow us to penetrate deep within the zone and score.

No worries. I see what you mean now and agree. Fasching's play was a pleasant surprise for sure. Not that I was expecting him to play poorly, but I'm so used to slow transitions for bigger players. Nice to see him shine.

I certainly wasn't implying they looked out of place all the time, it was more a comment on positioning away from the puck (Cammarata) and Kloos waiting behind the end line for the puck to come to him on many occasions.

Overall, I was really pleased and a little surprised by the way they looked, as well as Bischoff, Lettieri and Brodzinski.

Gophers sweep.

Ok...I didn't realize you were still posting here. ;)

The embed function hasn't worked in several weeks so apparently it's been disabled. After having two Beaver threads and a couple posters banned last season, I'm guessing they had "THE MEETING" to curb stomp the mayhem this season. I wrote a note to Admin a few weeks ago asking them about it and didn't receive a response.

Here's one for you San: What's the difference between a Beaver track team and a tribe of smart pygmies? The pygmies are a tribe of cunning runts.

Aww. I am going to be in Indianapolis this weekend for a hardware convention. After handling ballcocks and nipples all day, I will certainly be up for some Beaver licking at night. Any ideas on how?

Understood. I think it's important to remember that the coaches haven't had a lot of practice time with the kids yet, so I'm sure they don't have a really good grasp of the system yet. I was pleased and surprised as well. Future looks very bright :)

BTN.com had last weekend's games on. BTN2Go. Perhaps they will have this weekend's games to? I imagine they will.

You could use the directors cut on the FSN web site.
