Nice road win by the Gophers.

The Beavers played their patented slow it down grind it out kind of game and forced us to work hard for this win.

As weird as it sounds with a 3-goal margin - and no disrespect to BSU - but the game was not as close as the score would indicate. Shore up the PK and that's a 5 goal margin.

2 goal margin with an empty net goal.

We had control most of the game but Bemidji hung around.

Walsh is sooooooo good. He didn't have much of a chance on the ones that went in. Gophers need to work on the PK, as well as not taking stupid penalties.

The freshmen class has been very impressive in the first few games. Really liked the unselfish play too to give Connor Reilly the goal on the empty-netter. Classy move.

I like the work ethic too. I felt that that aspect is what the team from last year really lacked, possibly stemming from it's captains (as much as I liked the players). Rau, Condon and Warning really strike me as hard, gritty players and that seems to translate down through the ranks.

I hope they prove me right tomorrow.

Enjoyed watching NoDak do what they do to Miami. I'll actually like them now that were in different conferences.

Warning and Marshall both have stood out for me early on, but M Reilly, Holl and Skjei aren't far behind.

There might have been a little bit of not wanting to remember first goal as a EN goal too. Cammarrata looks like he will probably have some of the more creative assists by the end of the year. Often seems to hit the guy you don't expect.

He's probably on medical marijuana. That explains the bag of Cheetos on top of the net and why he's so flexible too.
