The Travelodge absolutely sucks donkey balls. It is horrible. Sleep in your car instead.

The arena wasn't what was primarily working against them in the first place. Sprucing up the JMSIA is mostly about bringing in more money from the suites and such, like you mentioned. It's just a bonus to be able to provide tangible proof to recruiting prospects that the school cares enough about rebuilding the program to spend a few million here and there on the facilities. A video board in the very near future should mostly complete the makeover for what is otherwise a classic, small town old barn (and actually has a certain amount of appeal to our Canadian players for that fact).

I doubt the NCAA has a distinction between suites and a club level, which is what the beer garden area would be.

The TravelLodge is decently located. The hallways are cold as balls. Its not the best, not the worst. If you.. say... Don't mind staying in Calumet, the Americinn is actually quite nice.

BPH said a couple posts back that he has a good title for the first thread of the season, so he's claimed it already.:p

Yeah... I'd test it out first. No offense to BPH, I'm sure he can come up with something good, but you guys are year in and year out a Frozen-4 calibre of posting fan base, and you don't wanna end up with a season thread title on par with Miami's offseason thread. :D

Unfortunately, no. I just took them home, I liked to keep my roommates awake.

I stayed there when I was in high school and some friends and I went up there for a snowmobile trip. Only later would I realize how pointless it is to stay at the Downtowner Motel, while still in high school, without fake IDs.
