we toured the new boxes at the MacInnes today. they look great. really really good. the whole project blends in well with the old building - it hard to tell what is old and what is new. (I mean that in a good way) I was unsure how the bench seating would be but I like it too. and the new BLC digs are very very nice. wasn't too sure about the boxes being in the 'end zone', but the floor was raised up a couple of feet and the view of the ice is good. the new BLC box has a nice nice view of the ice - I think more people will watch the games from there now, instead of going back to their seats.

only thing I can even imagine as a negative - the net. but next year they are going to replace it with something less noticeable.

hats off to all the planners, designers, builders, decorators!! this is a nice addition!!

Still curious how the band will adjust to their new digs, but I like the sound of this.

if they sounded like they sounded in the practice I heard they will be fine. loud. very loud. although I wish they were closer to the opposing goalie for two periods, instead of one.

somebody has said this is a temporary home for them?? don't know.

Well, you had several chances to come to Allendale and I could have arranged a photo op for you with Your's Truely. ;) Heck, I even tried to talk him into coming to the GLI last year as well.

Early in the Fourth, and it sounds like the GVSU second string guys have been getting some game reps in.

I hate that law. So terrible. But it's still better than erie, pa and their 9pm law. such a crappy place to be in without booze.
