Yeah from what I can tell from standing in my yard is that the cops seem to think he's somewhere just south of the courthouse, between Seventh and Sharon Ave, it's all wooded area and they have officers and cars stationed at pretty much every intersection around there...

Not yet, they will have to wait until the baloon comes down so they can give the video tape to the people on the ground. Should be ready by the 10:00 news.

Yeah, that tape will have to be hand-delivered to Marquette, so not until the late news.

They were going to but some little kid from Colorado was playing around it and his parents think it took off with him in it since they've looked everywhere except the rafters of the balloon hanger...and there's no way he'd be up there...

Possible good news for Tech.

An Aaron Pietila is lighting up the local MSHL league at Suburban Ice in Farmington Hills. He is close to the league leader in points.

Could get him going offensively for next year.
Looks like a bunch of Brighton folks are playing on that Wildcat team this summer as it is loaded with Finnish names.....

Cool to see him getting some summer ice time in, looks like he's teammates with his cousins + Reid Sturos (whose numbers aren't very good, so he must have dropped out of the league for whatever reason - maybe his USHL team didn't want him getting injured? Or he had to move out there already?).

It's not a particularly great league (especially in the goaltending department - they destroyed some team 20-8 :p), but if it keeps him on his toes, I'm all for it.

Yeah, his brother decided to go to NMU instead of Tech. He would have been an awesome addition.

Blake is actually Aaron's cousin, and from what I hear, the odds of him crossing the border to play for the OHL's Windsor Spitfires are still decent.

The word out of the paint store is that the Dee will once again have an open ceiling once the roof project is completed.

Someone (me) posted that on one of the threads back in April. Anyways, that should look way better than the dirty, saggy tarps that currently hang from the rafters.

This would be especially awesome if he yelled at the entire team "YOU MAKE ME WANT TO SMOKE!".
