Sorry to interrupt with hockey talk.

Why is the Hall of Fame game in November, @Tech on the sites schedules?

That is in reference to Michigan Tech's athletic hall of fame, probably. Normally, the game starts a skoch later to accomodate a banquet that takes place between the hockey game and an afternoon football game.

However, I'm a little confused because there are no weekends this fall in which both hockey and football are at home on the same Saturday.

They do typically do it on a joint weekend of football and hockey, but they could just be announcing people during an intermission like they usually do and just have the banquet before...

Well it was rumored that we were trying to get him and Ben Johnson. I had thought we would get Erkilla if we wanted him...not sure what happen there. He is a very small guy so who knows.

In my opinion they missed out on a kid who will be a legit D1 player; based on recent success they are lacking significant numbers of these type of players.

Maybe too much assuming going on and not enough recruiting. Short, but with legs the size of tree trunks; good skater, solid on his skates, very good hockey sense and can score. Missed out again.

No, you don't know my opinion. Because I'm not for recruiting local players; only impact local players, which are few and far between. Kero, Johnson and Erkilla are three of the latter IMO and actually are not far between in age. To see players with this kind of talent three years in a row from up here is probably not going to come along very often.

He has a full ride offer from MTU and NMU (supposedly the youngest player ever for both schools) and is going to wait and see what else is out there. So not a lock by any means.
