St Cloud is a sh*hole. There are indeed places that are sh*holes, no matter what the choices are available to an individual. Superior WI is another sh*hole. And before you claim MN bias, I have never had a bad time in Eau Claire nor Madison nor Milwaukee (MILWAUKEE!).

Just sayin'.

I've heard the term applied to the area your favorite team calls home. Remote location, not a lot of great bars, no women, etc, etc, etc. Being a Copper Country native, I'll vehemently disagree. If you go there expecting Broadway or Vegas to fall in your lap, you may be right. But if you take the time to ask questions and find out, it can be a terrific place.

Whether or not you can have a good time somewhere doesn't make it a ****hole or not! This isn't that hard to figure out.... Its the fact that half the city is in ruins, and buildings are crumbling, and the city can't even afford to maintain city parks that makes Detroit a ****hole.

I would love to see Maine or Harvard. Ohio State does nothing for me, yuck. North Dakota would be OK, but I wouldn't be too crazy about them being there.

I would have no problems with the GLI rotating with 2 eastern and 2 Michigan schools for 4 years and if NMU, Western, FSU proved to be better draws, so be it but there should be an eastern team at least once every 4 years.

Ohio? Please they can't get people to their own building let alone travel or have interest.

Miami would be good, they actually had fans travels to playoffs.

A tip of the cap to whoever archived this little slice of Yooper history for future generations. Thanks to these ads that ran on TV6, to this day I cannot pronounce Copper Country Ford without the overly thick accent.

That is awesome! Two scoreboards and one set of dasher boards ago they filmed that one. It looks like the "goalie" (standing on a rubber mat) is wearing Geoff Sarjeant's equipment according to the photo below. I wonder who's jersey that might be? That is late 80's early 90's but I don't know of a #1 in those years.

The goalie flinches when the first goal gets shot in off the pipe and you can even hear someone say "whoops" when they shoot the 3rd goal in off his blocker. It appears the video was posted by the dealership and those two guys in the commercial seemed to be long running spokespersons for CC Ford as there are many of their videos posted to YouTube by the dealership.

In all fairness we haven't seen them yet. They're going to get at least a B- from me regardless of what they look like just for trying something new. If they are blah we can change again in a couple years.

Hey what's the name of the person in MTU sports marketing that returns emails?... Seriously, I haven't found one yet since UAH plundered the staff.
