I think she just has to hire the right person and that is it, nothing less and nothing more. Another John MacInnes with no pressure to win.

If it does drag out beyond May, it won't be a precedent. I was in Houghton in 1996 dropping my son off at Summer Youth Program when Tim Watters was introduced as the new coach. We saw him in the ice arena store shopping for something with a Tech logo to wear for the press conference when my family was in there looking for tee shirts.

I might put more faith in your posts if you actually knew who our legendary coach was... :rolleyes:

As for the process, getting the right person is way more important to me than Michigan Tech making an announcement Monday. I hope Suzanne is taking the AHCA conference as an opportunity to feel out some of the other top candidates and see who else she can get to visit Michigan Tech next week.

I hope Suzanne brings back from the AHCA conference a ton of people to interview everyday next week.

Maybe she convinced Blais and Pearson they want the job this time. Wishful thinking.

Kind of like when you take a 1 credit fortran course and spend hours and hours trying to get the darned 30 card program you wrote to run and it still doesn't. Now THATS frustrating!
or maybe when you win only four games all year!

A new AD doing the hiring hopefully is the new formula to get the team off the losing wagon.

But we might have to wait till October for a new coach if all the coaches keep saying no.

I want the $300,000 HC with many years of experience and love small towns, wives that dont like to shop, and is an engineer major in college.

Nobody I am only dreaming.

Maybe Dean Blais will be back in the picture and we will all be surprised and happy.
Plus Dean is ranked 15th all-time for college coaches in another thread.
