Michigan Tech needs a new coach, what do you say Cary Eades?

I don't to give you too much advice. The Gophers aren't that great lately, either. They need someone to beat.
Once Cary Eades comes to Houghton and Michigan Tech changes their nickname to Suhaki before North Dakota can, Michigan Tech will return to dominance and win multiple championships!

I hate it when I don't catch a typo before the post is quoted multiple times. :)

Re: Michigan Tech needs a new coach, what do you say Cary Eades?

1. Yes, Eades is interested; but every coach likes to be pursued.

2. I have no idea if MTU or alumni have made contact. The inference was yes, but no direct conversation.

3. Without any doubt Eades wants to be a head coach and have his own program. He would also have no problem with being second choice after an MTU alum. Now if you offer to a DIII coach and it doesn't work out, he probably waits for the next opportunity.

To put it bluntly this is what your saying:

1 Mel Pearson
2 Cary Eades
3 Tim Coghlin/Ron Forgerty

We should put a large wheel barrow shaped lock box out side the SDC with a North Dakota mailing address and start collecting cash?

I wouldn't mind a bit if the admin takes the next couple weeks to look over the options. I don't want them to panic and hire the first warm body that shows up, like MSU.
Has anyone, anywhere spoken with Pearson since Red put the brakes on the rumor by saying, "Mel's staying with us"?

Considering the threshold is 4 wins, do you really even need a coach next season? I feel like you could equal that win total on accident.
I think MTU should create a course called Head Hockey Coach and let students run the team. There could also be classes in Recruiting, Assistant Hockey Coach, Hockey Marketing, Online Social Sports Marketing, Arena Management, Zamboni repair and of course, Boxing. They could even start a new Hockey Management degree program and of course fill it with hockey players. The tuition would offset the professors salaries so it shouldn't cost the university any money.

I'm sure she is back at it this week. However I'd expect that the secrecy will be improved this time.

Also you have to understand, Houghton is wayyyy better than anywhere in North Dakota all summer. And it's warmer all year. North Dakota really has nothing on the yuup as far as environment. Though dirty is right in a way, from the outside it looks dumpy especially in the winter. Course Grand Forks is dumpy too, just not as dumpy.

Well that was just a terrible decision on your part. Don't blame the semi-tolerable parts of North Dakota for your absolute stupidity.
Hey Dirty, what happened to your mighty Sioux against Michigan? The offense collapsed like a cheap lawn chair. Thank goodness UMD rose to the occasion to defend the honor of the WCHA.
