My maybe is a definite yes.

you're not one of the 4 maybes... I have bigblue_dl (plus extreme maybes in bigblue's family?), skrilla187, dxmnkd316 and another gopher fan that I don't think is on here?

Way to go Beavers! One point out of first place for Saturday's game.
I was scratching my head over how L'Esperance could sit after playing so well all year but clearly the coaches know what they're doing with the team they put out there tonight. I just hope he's not injured.

good job Bemidji! 5-2 over Mankato!

color me confused. didn't we just leap one point in front of Mankato?

Re: Michigan Tech, best season in 30 years, part two!

No, 1 point behind them, with a Tech win tomorrow and a Bemidji win we are regular season champs, get the MacNaughton and #1 seed, with a Tech tie and Bemidji win or Tech win and Bemidji tie we're co champs, share the MacNaughton but are seeded #2 due to head to head with Mankato, with a Tech loss or Mankato win we finish second back one or 3 points.

As far as tonight, I thought Eick made a huge difference because his speed really upped the speed of everyone else as well. He got the NMU D to back off and he just caused so much difficulty for them. We also back checked extremely well. Davis was good. The radio did have the ceremony and so did WCHA TV.
DU is 16-0 when ahead after 2 whoever plays them is going to have their hands full.

Re: Michigan Tech, best season in 30 years, part two!

The later you can make the pass, the less time the goalie has to react.

As to scoring opportunities I would agree, the later you can move the puck the less time you give the goalie to react.

This seemed to be true last night. Petan passed to Baltus from the top of the circle and Doan made the stop. Sturos waited until he was near the goal line before passing to Pietila and Doan didn't have a chance. One big difference between the two plays, though, is that Baltus was breaking ahead of Petan and Pietila was trailing Sturos.

I think I heard this before, but worth repeating after senior night. Riley Sweeney has played in EVERY game for 4 years. that's incredible.
