Tweet from Stephen Anderson, it'd be good news to get Gordic back.

@steander Milos Gordic will be making the #mtuhky trip this weekend and barring a setback, will play in Grand Forks.

Too quiet, bump off page 2. It's hockey day, big points this weekend!

Don't forget games are on FCS on Charter and I don' tknow about this weekend, but the last few years, UND has let Tech have access the video stream for those that have a subscription beacuase both schools use JumpTV.

Another twitter post by Stephen Anderson regarding injuries:
@steander More #mtuhky injury news: Tommy Brown *may* need season-ending surgery after dislocating his shoulder; Lickteig out one more week.

Re: Michigan Tech 2011-12 Season Thread, Part II: You're gonna need a bigger bandwago

Milos is back!!!

won't be around for most of the first part of the game, could someone give me updates? I promise to sit quietly at dinner and not jump up in the middle of the restaurant and yell SCORING!

Fearing the worst this weekend, going in expecting zero points and the virtual end of home ice hopes.

But on the bright side, your house won't be under 8 feet of water in 6 weeks.

Only thing I'm worried abou is staying healthy given how physical und is even if we lose both we can still get home ice with 29 points I think

Hopefully they can deliver a win for my birthday

Re: Michigan Tech 2011-12 Season Thread, Part II: You're gonna need a bigger bandwago

Hope UND goons it up and half the team gets thrown out

It is definitely possible, but very difficult to get home ice this year with 29 points...unless UNO goes in the crapper over the next 3 weeks (which they could...@CC, then hosting Minnesota and Denver is not easy).

Hard fought game, Josh was very good too.

Mel's postgame thoughts:
Hard fought battle, picked it up in the 3rd, outstanding chances but don't score, we had our chances
Josh was left out to dry a few times, we need to tighten up
We turned the puck over a few times, tough call to put us down 5x3 and that was the GWG
Milos was good, nice to have him back, played strong/well, conditioning will be big for tomorrow

No goal in the flurries in the 3rd where we needed one... Second was not pretty, need to stay out of the box!

Our 2nd period stinks more often than not this whole season. The other scores from tonight still keep us in the hunt for home ice. We were oh so close tonight to tie the game late. Big game tomorrow night....hoping for some points.

As a Sioux fan who watched Tech play for the first time last night, I thought I'd congratulate Tech fans on what the team has accomplished so far this year. Although last night was not the result you wanted, that is a team that will play with (and beat) anybody. Any serious college hockey fan is aware of Tech's great tradition, and your program has always gotten a lot of respect because of it--even through what has been a lot of difficult years. I recall watching Tech teams come to UND in the 70s, and those teams were big, fast, and skillled. I can't wish you a win tonight or any night you play the Sioux, but congratulations--that is a fine hockey team you have.

And coming from a school with rigorous academic requirements has to make your hockey success even more satisfying.

The first and third were ok for Tech, but I expected a lot more.
ND played with Tech in the 2nd period.

Must get the transition game going tonight and create some pressure off the rush.

Go Tech, let's climb back into home ice position.
