Anytime you can win a game, it's good
We didn't play with same urgency after 1st period
PP 0-7, great chances
Robinson won the game for us, they had Grade A chances
Likteig has great speed, created some good chances
We started poor in faceoffs, but it got better
Looking forward to Wisconsin

I thought Olson came back in a big way and led the team tonight. good to see. Davis will be a good one, he's got a lot to learn about positioning but the boy can skate and he's apparently fearless. Same with Kero. Lickteig played well. The misfits were outstanding, good crowd.

Well, two frustrating games for AIC, for different reasons.

But I wanted to say that Tech fans are a class act. If the world was full of Tech fans, it would be a better world.

I was glad that our fans treated cornwall so well. good luck the rest of the way. It's a real sacrifice to come this far for a game.
As far as the price: come on buddy this is the big time here, if you can't afford it, don't go.

I was very happy to hear the comments about likteig. this is real good news and expect to see him in the line up a ton more. Going over to what jerry york said about their win over UND. The speed of the puck movement is important, and it's going to win games. We have to continue to speed the game up.

I also liked that he played a number of different players on saturday vs friday. I think we have a bonafide sniper in Pietila and I wonder who is going to sit when Gordic does come back. Still a long way to go before I would say we can beat teams like Wisconsin though.

How about alcohol for sale in the cemetery, that's off campus.

Would those marble floors have an image gouged out of them in a year or two? I think you can pick some of those up cheap.

Does Tech return the trip to AIC next year?

Would those marble floors have an image gouged out of them in a year or two? I think you can pick some of those up cheap.

Pretty sure North Dakota won't have to remove the 'permanent' logos.

My understanding is the east side is going to be a loft for the pep band and a hall of fame. I saw some preliminary drawings as well. Didn't look like any seats added, but the concourse continued around.

Cool, I didn't have the iPhone last year for a work phone, had a windows mobile one that had an app I could use. Android doesn't like it...

Great job on the THG website by all who contribute; the replays and interviews are long overdue. I'm assuming the coaching staff and team are very appreciative of your efforts. Keep up the good work!

It appears R.Heinonen is conducting the majority of the interviews and is doing a pretty good job; any thoughts of having a weekly formal videotaped coaches show that includes a host and the coach and possibly players as guests? I realize there is the radio show with Dirk but a weekly aired video would be nice.

Yeah, I've just started doing that as well. figure between iheartradio and tunein radio apps, there's a good shot that I'll be able to tune in any game I want with my android phone. just going to want to be plugged in somewhere, and not driving thru anywhere with lousy cell phone coverage.

Nice win tonight, team showed strengths that weren't there in the first period last night. Also got kind of chippy when Robinson was getting run over, that can help us and hurt us and the same time. We'll see how everything looks against a real opponent next weekend with Wisconsin.

Not cool, we don't like it when other people refer to Tech as not being a real team so don't do it to others. Not trying to be a dick, just saying that if we want respect we should give it to everyone.

Great weekend to be up in Houghton, the weather, the colors, I win the Blueline Club 50/50 Saturday night, and the Huskies sweep! There was some good in both games and still a lot they need to really improve on. But at least for the moment they are off to a good start.

Tech hockey not worth it
To begin, to even get into a parking lot, I was charged $5. "Okay," I thought, "As long as ticket prices aren't any higher." Expecting to get the typical $6 or $8 ticket, I was stamped with the outrageous price of $12. My total for a simple exhibition game was now at $17, and I haven't even stepped inside the mezzanine of the (MacInnes) Ice Arena.
Yes, they are great games to watch, but the price to pay and the drowning out of Tech's unique qualities just doesn't make it worth it to me anymore.
