Merrimack Offseason Thread: Everyone else seems to have one.

Re: Merrimack Offseason Thread: Everyone else seems to have one.

McMahon is a homer, but he said nothing to do with finances or new rink. I can't imagine he got escorted off campus unless it did involve finances or new rink.

Re: Merrimack Offseason Thread: Everyone else seems to have one.

If all he did was have improper contact like Petrino at Arkansas, I would assume they'd just say pack your bags and leave.

It's a shame we don't seem to have any current student posters. News like this tends to spread like wildfire in an under-3000 population campus like MC.

Just wanted to say that I think it is great that Merrimack players are taking their Team Impact teammate to the midnight Batman showing tonight.

The character on this team is tremendous, it's a testament to the work Dennehy has done to bring in good players and better people off the ice.

Yay for 22 year old FR!
Yup, their 2nd '91....the same number as ME, UMass, UNH, and NU. Still behind PC and UVM (4 each) and UML with a whopping 7! (0 for BC as completely expected....no need to look for AARP eligible for the Eagles, and only 1 for BU). Just want to make sure you realized that it isn't just MC (although they're the only ones that you seem to comment on).;)

I've stated this elsewhere, I'm not thrilled that Lowell has so many, but I think this year can be excused as Bazin became Coach late in the cycle for the 2012 class. Especially as kids are committing earlier and earlier.

Remember the Gilroys!

Oh no, I give UML $hit about it constantly as well. Wasn't aware of UVM and PC

Re: Merrimack Offseason Thread: Everyone else seems to have one.

Disappointing news :( He certainly would have been a nice "get" for the Warriors. Best of luck to him as he decides his future plans.

Re: Merrimack Offseason Thread: Everyone else seems to have one.

Why wasn't this kid signed to a LOI and brought in for this season? He appeared to be a bit young (by local standards- a bit old by bu, bc standards) and quite accomplished.

Was he college accepted at this point? Had he done the mandatory class work?

Re: Merrimack Offseason Thread: Everyone else seems to have one.

I liked the coach's comments about character and commitment.

Re: Merrimack Offseason Thread: Everyone else seems to have one.

I noticed on Chris Heisenberg's 2012 recruits list that Izaak Berglund, a d-man from Westside (BCHL) was crossed off. Anyone know why?
