Go Warriors this weekend! Kick those Black Bears butts so we can sneak in for 5th seed.

You forgot to put playoffs tbd next to PC for this season. After they sweep Lowell this weekend they could grab the 8 seed.

what's the latest on Da Costa? Will he be playing in Orono?

Everything I have read/heard would be that he wouldn't be ready for this weekend...most likely not until the HE playoffs since if he doesn't play this weekend it would be dumb to risk him against PC especially with such a deep team

I think if he is ready, he SHOULD play vs PC if for nothing else then to get his feet back under him, get used to the flow of the game, and get used to being out there again. I'm not saying he should play 25 minutes or anything, but definitely a few solid shifts, and work on the PP would help him get back into this. JMHO.

Re: Merrimack College 2010-2011: taking H.E. one chair-back seat at a time

i completely agree with MC...if he's even ready to skate during the PC weekend i say let him get a few shifts to get his feet wet. Anyone that tries to tell you that practice gets you ready for the real thing is slightly foolish in regards that after weeks off even practice doesn't come close to game pace or energy. SDC will need to get some time....i say 10 minutes or so per game, maybe more depending on how he feels

I was just coming here to post that I saw it. Nice segment! I'm sure it will be on their website, if it's not already. The rink looks great, btw. Sorry I couldn't get up there last month to see it with all the seats in.

i dont know about the rest of you but i really hope da costa plays at least a little bit, i agree with mchockey even if he can get a little pp time that would be awesome. Im nervous about the upcoming weekend simply because of how hard it will be to earn a sweep up there, i will be satisfied with 2 points but 4 would be so awesome. To get 4 i think we need Da Costa though this weekend. I also really hope we dont take too many penalties this weekend as i feel that is the recipe for losing to Maine and we already do take way too many penalties. The way Nyquist is playing is terrifying.

The only difference being that Tim Army seems to make his team worse and worse every year, and Dennehy makes his team better and better.

Re: Merrimack College 2010-2011: taking H.E. one chair-back seat at a time

Da Costa was there sitting in the stands with his parents. I saw him stand up to celebrate the MC goal, but did not see him walk around. Hopefully he will be back for the playoffs. I think the team can get through these next five games without him.

When is Da Costa coming back? Why is this such a secret? (I heard Dennehy responded to a reporter saying "he's drinking his milk". Really?) This is college hockey, not the NFL.

Probably the same reason Tom Brady is always listed as Questionable.
