I agree it's not the optimal situation, and that it seems pretty unfair, but with the BTN picking up the game, no way they let the Gopher game be at 4pm over 7pm. TV networks, like with all sports, drive the ship because they are paying money to broadcast the games.

Like you said, as long as the ground rules are laid down before hand, shouldn't be too big of a deal. The time of the game takes nothing away from the winning team's accomplishment.

BTW Hammer - Watched your game before the Gopher game and your team is the real deal. No doubt they will be the #1 team in the land on Monday, and they deserve it.

We'll see. We've got a long way to go yet. I'd rather be #1 on May 5 than #1 on January 5. But thank you all the same.

Like you said before, the only ranking that matters is at the end. Didn't catch your game today, but saw the game last night and the Bulldogs looked pretty darn good. Bummed we didn't get to play you guys tonight, but obviously Colgate deserved to be there.

Much better effort tonight. A lot more blocked shots. The PP, while technically only going 1-for-5 also led to a goal right as a PP expired. Barring that awful turnover in the 1st, it looked much more in sync tonight.

I was also glad to see them shuffle the lines around a bit. I liked seeing Rau out there with Cammarata. I think there is some very valuable mentoring that could go on there. Also really good to see Rau shake off this little slump with a couple goals.

I like that 3rd line combo we saw tonight more and more each time I see them together. I think Serratore was on the ice for about 50% of the PK time tonight as well.

The third line really brings energy and tenacity. Love it.

Great tourney by Colgate - Congrats on the Championship!

Nice to see the Gophers playing quite a bit better the second night.

I did not see the Colgate/Ferris State game. Was Colgate the better team or did they just get the bounces? Either way, the outcome was a big surprise.
