Marathon Killers Apprehended: the Aftermath

Re: Marathon Killers Apprehended: the Aftermath

Yeah, "souvenir" hunting in the wake of a mass killing, coincidentally coming immediately after the FBI has named one of your friends as a prime suspect, is logical. These were college students, who certainly had to be aware of the world wide reporting on this incident, and to even suggest that they might have acted innocently here is, in fact, giving them the benefit of the doubt. They don't deserve it.
Of course. How silly of me to think college kids could be after souvenirs when we all know how intelligently college kids act.

Especially when a good friend has been implicated in a mass killing. You got even one example where friends of suspects went "souvenir hunting," thus "innocently" removing evidence? I don't think you're going to get much traction by suggesting that what these punks did was some sort of "lark." There is no innocent explanation here. I ask again: why are you so stubbornly anxious to give these a*sholes the benefit of the doubt? You didn't give the NRA the benefit of the doubt when you accused them of "blocking" the investigation into the marathon bombing. Why here?

"Anybody who made a conclusion early on that these were two lone wolves or they were acting in a primitive way, wrong. The more we go on, the investigation goes on, the more we learn. And I think everybody ought to just hold their conclusions until this process is over,"

Joe Lieberman, quoted by Jake Tapper

But criminal mastermind stoners!

Criminals yes. Masterminds? Not necessarily. It doesn't take a mastermind to remove and dispose of evidence relevant to the investigation of a mass murder. Just someone who puts his friendship with a savage ahead of justice for the killer of an 8-year old.

For the um-teenth time, you cannot post attachments on this board for people to view. You can put them into the post, but nobody can see them. If you want to include a picture, you have to do it from a file sharing sites such as Photo Bucket, Flickr and the like.

OK thx for the tip. At least the link is there to the original.....

I wonder why the Board appears to offer the feature then when you follow the instructions as directed they don't work? oh well.

Board put the settings in place during its install a long, long time ago. They did it to save DB space on their end. As to why they offer the ability to start down the path rather than simply disable the link entirely, I don't know enough about the vBulletin software to even begin answering that.

Re: Marathon Killers Apprehended: the Aftermath

Tip #1 for people who want to protest at the funeral of slime #1: Make sure you're shouting at the right people.

"Protesters" just taunted family leaving funeral home after picking up ashes, assuming they were relatives of Tsarneav

ETA:

The protesters’ ire was apparently misdirected this afternoon when they yelled at a family, including a man on crutches, who had come to the funeral home to pick up the ashes of a loved one.

“Go back to Russia,’’ one man shouted at the family, adding an expletive. The family, however, had no connection to Tsarnaev.

Also, the mother says she wants the remains sent to Russia for burial.

Meanwhile Bill Ayers, he of Weather Underground bombing fame, finds no similarity between his bombings and the Things' bombing as his "never killed anyone."

Has anyone asked Eric Rudolph if they are similar to his?
