Marathon Killers Apprehended: the Aftermath

Re: Marathon Killers Apprehended: the Aftermath

How many Christians are bombing abortion clinics?

One is too many. What's your point? That pro-life nutballs excuse Islamists? That because there are pro-life nutballs, we shouldn't be upset with Islamist terror bombings? That there's something wrong with pointing out what savages Islamists are? Because there are Christians who do bad things too? Don't strain yourself speaking up for those scumbags.

Both instances are one and the same. Both are terror bombings. I'm just prepared to call a spade a spade.

Re: Marathon Killers Apprehended: the Aftermath

Bill Maher said it best. Something to the effect of "We have 'The Book of Mormon' on Broadway right now. Do you think they could do 'The Book of Islam' tomorrow?"

For one performance. To this day, the only print newspaper to run the Danish cartoons is the Philadelphia Inquirer. I wonder why that is?

Yes they are. However one form is substantially more prevalent that the other. International in scope. With lots of funding. Whose only purpose it is to kill "non believers." Pro life nutballs are rank amateurs by comparison. Why do you pose as some half-a*s "teller of the truth" after the incident we all just went through? Make this sophomoric point the next time some Christians blow up bombs in the middle of a celebration in a Muslim country. Eid or something. Why does it mean so much to you to compare Christians with remorseless Muslim killers? There is no moral equivalency here.

So since one is more prevalent than the other, it's more wrong? You're a moron.

I think that's an open question, based on your insistence in finding moral equivalency where there is none. You enjoy calling a "spade a spade" I'd imagine, because you feel so good smugly preening about your superior morality. And Christian bashing is a bonus.

Boston Globe reports that Thing 1 died when he was run over by Thing 2. Can the authorities charge Thing 2 with Vehicular Homicide?

They probably could, by letter of the law.....

Has a COD for Thing 1 been established? I mean, charge Thing 2 with killing Judge Crater for all I care, it's just that there seems to be some conflicting reportage here. I've read that Thing 1 suffered numerous penetration wounds. Then we've seen the accounts that he was "surrendering" and was being cuffed when Thing 2 ran him down. I suppose both descriptions could be true, that he would have succumbed to his gun shot wounds. Although being dragged under a car's gotta hurt.

From what I heard, Thing 1 was cuffed, Thing 2 said "f this" and floored it to get out of there, scattering the authorities, and whoopseedrizzle, Thing 1 (who was on the ground) couldn't get out of the way in time.

Re: Marathon Killers Apprehended: the Aftermath

Tamerlan was riddled with bullets according to the doctors. If he was alive when he was run over, he wasn't going to last much longer.

But what was the extent of Thing 1's injuries? Was he mortally wounded? 200 rounds fired. There's a good chance he took a couple or 10. Hey, charge Thing 2 for concealed carry, vehicular homicide, halitosis, whatever. Just get his a*s on a gurney, ASAP.

I guess that's what they meant by "numerous penetrating wounds." Knowing that he'd killed one cop and gravely wounded another, I doubt they were holding back. Again, like that scene in the new "Taking of Pelham, 1,2,3" where they shot Travolta's pals mucho mucho.

The bombers aren't Arab. They're Chechnian, and the younger one is a U.S. citizen. While it's certainly possible they are anti-Semitic, there's nothing at this point to indicate that's the case or that it played any role in Monday's events.

Your statement, at this point, is a bit like saying a Mexican Catholic must have hated the British 30 years ago because Irish Catholics did.

True, not Arab

Muslim

Ah, I see we are all back to "normal" again. The human psyche is so resilient.
