I'm not sure I agree it's any worse than WMU. As bad a Harvard is playing against OSU, IMO it's more about OSU than Harvard. They look amazing, relentless puck pursuit. Well above even BU's level yesterday. The speed and the size combo makes this a dangerous team if they keep this up.

Ok, I recant it's worse!!! Still OSU looks surprisingly good

This stands out for OSU... but Harvard came out turning pucks over like it was going out of style. This score is a combination of both teams. OSU size and strength really stands out. Harvard is getting clobbered in all the battles. Looks like OSU spends a lot of time in the weight room and Harvard spends a lot of time in the classroom. OSU looks like they've recruited great athletes.

They have opened up 2 corner sections on the lower bowl. Perhaps returns from one of the losing teams?
 
So far the B1G definitely the best conference. Minny and Ohio State destroyed their opponents. Penn State has already scored early in the first. Michigan likely to beat Colgate. So they'll have four of the final eight. So much for the "great" NCHC. Only one team left already.

And I DO like Starman...I think his analysis is excellent...if he'd just stop the constant promoting for the NCHC.

I think you are mixing two memories. In the '94 semis in Minneapolis, we beat the Gophers 4-1 behind 2 Mike Pomichter goals. Minnesota had scored to make it 3-1 BU (I think) and while the large home crowd was doing their M-I-N-N...chant, Steve Thornton banged home a rebound to restore the 3 goal cushion. It was beautiful. I choose to forget what happened two nights later. In '95 at Providence Civic Center, we beat Minnesota 7-3. The goal I remember most was Shawn Bates intercepting a cross-ice pass and going in on a breakaway to open up a big lead. I don't think there were enough fan sto get a long M-I-N-N chant going win that game. And then we beat some team from Maine for the title... :-).

Ends not on sale. They are obstructed view because of the temporary video screens hung in front of them. Doubt the ends will go on sale.

edit: upper on one side has about 30 tix available, other side maybe 50% available. Going to be close to a ticket sell out.

edit: two upper sections sold out, parts of four more upper sections in the corners now available. I don’t think they can go any further towards the ends. Should be a great atmosphere.
