Haha, you think that Jack was embarrassed by that? Seriously? I just enjoy watching him go nuts. It's good theater.
My sentiments exactly, its all part of the act. Shawn always said its all about the entertainment and Jackie is a show all by himself:D

If only Jackie were that smart, eh? :)

Re: Maine Recruit Updates: Monarchs and More......

Sure I think he was embareazzed. Getting swept in his own barn by timmay and then getting kicked out of the game . Why wudnt he be. I realize Jack the rippper has no heart or soul, but he cud still be inebriated , I mean azzhamed .

I agree he was probably embarrassed about the SWEEEEEEEEEP, I just don't think he was fazed about the ejection.

Oh no no no....ur right, I think he rather enjoys the ejections nowadays.

Re: Maine Recruit Updates: Monarchs and More......

I got the indication from Whitby GM a few months ago that Shore would be in Orono next year if he decides the college route. I think a lot will depends on where hes drafted this summer on which route he takes (college or major junior).

We've seen this story play out before.......*YAWN*

Sadly, we'll never see Shore in Orono.

Re: Maine Recruit Updates: Monarchs and More......

I wonder if Marty will get a start on Sat. against Alabama Huntsville?

I can't imagine Marty stays if Morris comes next year, the kid was drafted by Columbus and is getting no game experience. You'd think his " adviser " would want him to get some game experience

If he's really pushing Sully in practice, I'd give him the start, for three reasons: (1.) Sullivan has been very composed, hasn't flopped at all, and Marty is *apparently* following his example. (2.) Marty has all the tools IMO, and Maine needs a competent back-up if they expect to go anywhere. (3.) The time to test the waters is vs. Huntsville, not in a league game.

Ouellette needs to get a start,I have been in his corner from the get-go...has the tools to be a good goalie...BUT problem is he comes across not focused and lacking confidence...needs this game for himself and the Team...I don't know what to think on next seasons Roster with 3 netminders...if Morris comes in which he is suppose to do in 2012-13,I don't see Maine carrying all three...my gut says Ouellette heads to QMJHL for playing time...just a gut feeling. Even thou he's a Draft Pick(7th Round)...with Columbus, well that Organization is not one of the Top in developing players at any level....be it keeping #51 in College or pointing him in the direction where he gets playing time(The Q).

Re: Maine Recruit Updates: Monarchs and More......

Shore was the OJHL Southeastern conference player of month for January as he had 12 goals and 13 assists in 12 games

Re: Maine Recruit Updates: Monarchs and More......

that will be quite a few EJ defensive players of the year on the black bear squad, won't it

Re: Maine Recruit Updates: Monarchs and More......

6-1, 180#......I'm definitely liking the size of the recent D commits.

This commitment almost certainly moves Renouf to 2013.

I assume it means Nemec won't be coming back for a fifth year too. I can't see Maine bringing in four(if you include Norman) if they're only losing two.

I agree on the size, I think somewhere between 6' and 6'2" is perfect. I might regret saying this but I think this kid is more promising than the kid who chose BU over Maine a week ago. I'm all set with the really big defenseman who have pro potential. It seems like you get more development than end product from them.

That's possible, but I am thinking they are bringing in 3, Williams, Hutton and now Riley. Maybe the verdict on Norman is he will not be able to play Div. I as a defensemen. Renouf would be coming in the following year. Always have to wait and see how things shuffle out. Am assuming Riley is a right shot as I believe Hutton, Renouf and Williams are all lefties. That is also the case for Schurhamer. Right d-men are Cornell, Nemec, O'Connor and Norman. Nemec red-shirted so he still has a year of eligibility left, but maybe he is getting some good looks by scouts.

Just looked and found a photo of Riley when he was playing for Albany and he is a lefty http://www.timesunion.com/sports/article/Academy-hockey-goes-local-942692.php#photo-506281 which has me surprised. We lose 2 lefties in O'Neil and Hegarty, but now we look to have 5 lefties recruited over the next 2 years?

Definitely there will be some movement by someone we did not expect on the d-corp. But will get those answers when the season is over and hopefully we still have a little longer ride this year!
