Re: Maine offseason part II...Countdown to slightly above the Mendoza line.
We should just keep this thread going.

Not gonna happen. We'll talk again on Saturday night.
At least in the off season we don't get beat by Union. From the two periods of video I saw this team looks to be worse offensively than the last two years. My biggest question of the night is why did Dee get more ice time than Nyquist especially on the PP?We should just keep this thread going.

It was mostly not creating anything to speak of. The most concerning is Maine had 8 PP's to 1 and lost the game 4-1 and really other than the Shemansky tip in goal the had limited quality chances. Was it poor finishing or not creating many opportunities? I watched about five minutes then went to the radio, the quality was horrible and I just couldn't take it any more. I'm going tomorrow night and will report back what I see in person.
Congrats on your prediction
I'm not too worried about Darling missing the Union games. It's Union. Last years' Maine team beat them 3-1 and 5-1.
I hope Whitehead takes this opportunity to see what Sirman can do. I think we all know that Dave Wilson is not the long term solution for this season.
Hegarty being out for three games doesn't seem like a big deal either.
I know it reflects badly on the team when players get suspended but get over it. Whatever they did they did it last spring. This isn't the end of the world or the end of the season.
Hopefully Tanner House is OK to play but even if he isn't I don't think Union should be too much trouble for this Maine team.
