Too, bad, Matt Mangene won't be here to see his sister play. He will be in Vermont tonight playing game two with the Catamounts.

Interesting that Maine has had problems winning at home and BC always seems to have trouble when they play in Orono. Maine's win over BC earlier in the year at BC also displayed that for some reason, BC has trouble matching up with Maine. From a BC fans perspective, a split for BC would also be great. Good luck.

Perhaps tomorrow Maine can get the split. Maine tied the score at the 17:00 minute mark of the 3rd period 3-3. BC wins in OT 4-3.:(

I'm expecting the team to do well this weekend against Union. Two disappointing losses at home against BC. As coach Lewis says, the team has fewer distractions while on the road and tends to be more successful.

Maine has another opportunity against BU this weekend. Neither team had played for a month when BU came to Alfond Arena this past Sunday in a 2-1 loss. Offense continues to struggle. Hopefully, they'll get it together on the road and come away with at least a split. They are certainly capable when they are focused.

Two goals in the 3rd period gives Maine the win over BU. If the team can win today, they will win the series and move ahead of BU in the standings. Maine continues to play well on the road.

I agree with you. Maine was picked to finish last in the pre-season poll. Nice to see a team develop and exceed early season expectations.

A great weekend. Maine sweeps Vermont and is now tied for 3rd place in Hockey East with BU. Each team has 20 points and have played the same number of games. Two huge games coming up against league leading NU this weekend.

Congratulations to the players for the regular season ending sweep of UNH. The team now goes to Providence next weekend for a quarter-final game. This should be a great game. Each team has won and tied in three meetings. Overall record of 17-10-6 equals Maine's record for wins set in 2005-2006.

Disappointing loss today against Providence in the quarter-final round. Maine made strides this year and had some nice wins. Pre-season poll had Maine finishing last.

Earlier games I saw Maine they skated today from opening tried to thug it up. Made no sense?

Agree great season for program.

I was surprised to see Maine allow 6 goals and get shut out. Was it defense more than goal tending or a combination? Good luck to the Friars next weekend in Hyannis.
