Barring something unusual this weekend and next, it appears likely Maine will finish #6 and play at PC, NE or ML.

At this point I've accepted passing NU or UML and getting home ice is a pipe dream, I'll be satisfied with passing BU and getting up to 5th. Any combination of results besides Maine loss and Terriers win on Saturday sets up a showdown at Alfond for 5th place. I bet the atmosphere would be electric.

I certainly hope Sunny (or Sonny) whatever her name is will not be doing the color analysis - she is dreadful. I can barely take the play-by-play guy.

She played hockey for Providence back in the 2008 timeframe (I say that to point out it's not as if she doesn't understand the game). My initial reaction was the same as yours (a lot of "cliches"), but as the game wore on I actually thought she was very insightful. And she is certainly very articulate. I didn't have a problem with her.

ME TOO! I'm with you on that John but unquestionably the worse is Tom Caron who is Florida where I hope he stays until season's end.
